Finding the Geometric center
- AutoCAD 2016 has a new type of object snap called geometric center. And this works on closed poly lines, which I've drawn here on the left. As you see I also have a circle on the right. I can click right here to snap to the geometric center. Hold down shift and right click again and choose center and then click on the edge of the circle to snap to its center. And press enter to end the command. If I select the poly line and change its shape, obviously its geometric center is now in a different location.
