- [Narrator] We're staying in our TypicalDrawing.dwg file now. And what we're going to have a look at, is methods of deleting and erasing objects from your AutoCAD LT drawings. We've got our two shapes created by groups of line segments. We're gonna start deleting and erasing those. Now, deleting and erasing are the same thing, but when you delete, I always refer to the delete key on the keyboard. When you erase, that's me referring to the Erase command in AutoCAD LT. Now, I've got the pleasure of using AutoCAD LT 2019, which has a lovely highlighting tool. If I hover over that line there, it highlights it white. When I click on it and select it, using the little pick box in the crosshair there, it gives the selected object this really nice, little blue hint, and you can see the three grips there on the line as well. If I hit the delete key, I can delete that line. Now, don't let anybody tell you that using the delete key is bad CAD practice. It really, really isn't. All you've gotta…
