Editing hatch patterns

- [Instructor] Once again we're staying in our HatchingGradients.dwg file. And you can see there's the nice hatch pattern that we placed in the last video. What you'll also notice which I don't know if you've noticed already is in the layers panel in the home tab we're using the hatching layer. It's always good to have a separate layer for your hatch patterns in your AutoCAD LT drawings. That means you can freeze those hatches or turn them off and so on and so forth. You can also lock hatches in case you don't want them edited or removed. Now at the moment this hatch pattern that we've placed is all one big hatch pattern. Now wouldn't it be nice if I could break that big hatch pattern into individual hatch patterns for each particular room. I can do that very easily. What I do is I go to the hatch editor tab which has now appeared at the top on the ribbon, and I go to options here and I separate the hatches. So I click there like so and they now all become individual hatch patterns…
