Dimensioning simple designs

- [Instructor] We're staying in our Annotation.dwg file, and you'll remember in the previous video we setup our dimension style. So what we're going to do now, we're going to add some simple dimensions to our AutoCAD LT drawing, our Annotation.dwg file, and we're going to make sure that we use that dimension style that we setup previously. Now, one of the really nice features in the annotate tab on the ribbon in the dimensions panel is this tool here, and it's the dim layer override. It means that I can pick any layer I want to override the current drafting layer. So I can use the current layer or I can go and select my dimensions layer, and it will always place my dimensions on that layer. Now just before we start dimensioning, go down to the status bar, make sure that your object snaps down here are on. They should be blue like so, and what we're going to do now is place some simple dimensions in our Annotations.dwg file. They're here on this little fly out menu here on the…
