- [Instructor] Like before, we're staying in our MoreDimentioning.dwg file. What I'm gonna show you now is just some little, sort of dimension editing tools that'll put you in good stead when you've got lots of dimensions on your AutoCAD drawings. I'm just gonna pan upwards slightly. I want to work with this chain of dimensions here. What I'm going to do is I'm going to use another linear dimension, and I'm gonna take it from let's say a point on this line here to a point here. There's a midpoint there. If I use that midpoint snap there, and then go across here somewhere, and just say line into there. I'm not worried about the actual physical point that I'm snapping to, by the way. Then, I'm just gonna bring another dimension down and through, like so. You'll notice that we've got a bit of gobble-de-goop going on there now, where you've got lines going through dimensions. You're not quite sure which dimension starts where. What we're going to do, we're gonna use a lovely command…
