Creating a table

In this video we will create a table and start to populate its cells with data. Open the Architectural4 sample file in the Chapter 13 folder. Go to the Annotate tab on the ribbon, and click the Table button located right here. Let's select a table that has, lets say three columns and a number of rows. I'm not sure how many rows we're going to need yet. And we don't have to decide on that exactly right now. But it's good to sort of rough in the idea that you have for your table. I'll go with a three by five. Click OK to accept all the other defaults. And the cursor says Specify Insertion Point. Click some point over here on the side to insert your table. Now, you see a cell with a blinking insertion point there. Now we can type in the name of the table. I'll call it Room Schedule. Now I will click outside of that area to exit the command.
