Creating multiple layout viewports
- [Instructor] We're staying in our Layouts.dwg file. What we're going to look at now is placing viewports, sometimes multiple viewports, in our new layout tabs that we created in previous videos. Just before we do that though, go to the home tab on the ribbon, and go to your layer dropdown here in the layers panel. Just make sure that viewports is the current drafting layer by clicking on the word viewports like so. That's great. That's all set up and ready to go. And then go down to your ISO A1 GA here, and click on it, and make sure that that particular layout is your current layout in your AutoCAD LT drawing. What we're going to do now is start adding some viewports to our layout tabs so that we can communicate our design intent from the design in the model tab. So, we go up to the layout tab here on the ribbon, the contextual layout tab, and what we're going to do is create a viewport. Now the good thing is as soon as you go to that layout tab, you've got the layout viewports…
