Creating gradients

- In this video, we will experiment with the gradient command. Open the plumbing sample file in the chapter 8 folder, and zoom in. This is actually the water system in my house. I have a wood stove that heats the water, and it goes up here in the range boiler. I have a panel on the roof that heats the water also, through a heat exchanger. And the water in the range boiler is a source of pre-heated water that goes into the electric water heater. So, to make this diagram stand out more, I'd like to insert gradients into these peices of equipment in these tanks. And that will represent the temperature gradient that goes from cold to hot in the range boiler and in the electric hot water heater, the colder water's at the bottom and the hotter water is at the top. So we can visually depict that using a gradient. You'll find the gradient tool up here, underneath the hatch command.
