Baseline and continued linear dimensions

- Let's take a look at two additional types of linear dimensions, Continue and Baseline. Both of these types continue on from the last linear dimension that you created during this drawing session. I just opened this file, so there's nothing to continue from. Let's give it something to start with, namely a linear dimension. I'll go over here and make a dimension from this end point to the center of this hole in the frame. Then I'll place the dimension line location down here. Let's move this title out of the way. Next, choose Continue. It continues on from where you left off. Click this hole, and it just keeps going. Press enter to end the command. Then you can come back and select individual dimensions that you've created, and use the grips to pull them out, so you can read them. Notice how I can snap this dimension line to the other one. I can grab it from here and actually snap it over here, and it will stay lined up. This one is sort of a problem, because it doesn't really fit…
