- [Shaun] Welcome to this AutoCAD LT Essential Training course. What we're going to do as we take you through this course is get you working with AutoCAD LT, getting you more proficient with AutoCAD LT. The reason being is at the end of this course, you should be able to walk away and use AutoCAD LT in any given environment. We'll take you through all the basics in this course, all the essential training that you need, to learn all of the methodologies and functionality of AutoCAD LT.
You'll notice there's a drawing on the screen already there called Introduction.dwg. You can download that if you want to from the library to follow along with these introductory videos. You can see, it's a standard 2D drawing of a floor plan with some dimensions and grid lines, and so on. And we'll be using this drawing quite a lot as we work our way through the course too. You can get into this drawing, have a look at it, see how AutoCAD LT works. Now AutoCAD LT is quite a complex product.
You can see by the ribbon at the top of the screen there. There's a lot of commands to learn, Now don't be daunted by that. AutoCAD LT is a great product, it's very very easy to use, and we're gonna make it easy to use for you. So let's get into the AutoCAD LT Essential Training course, and get you proficient with AutoCAD LT.
