Attaching and overlaying xrefs

- In this video, we will create Xrefs or External References. Open the Architectural2 and Furniture drawing files. The Furniture file contains single layer I-Furn, which stands for Interior Furnishings, and the Architectural2 drawing contains many layers but no furniture. Let's say we have the following situation. We have an architectural designer and we have a furniture designer, and they're collaborating on the same project. I'm using this example but you could apply this to any discipline. It could be two different consultants that work in different offices, or it could be two different people in the same office working on different tasks. Xrefs allow these people to work together concurrently. So, let's say the architectural designer in this example wants to see the furniture design that the other person is working on.
