Architectural project: Drawing doors

- In this video we will draw in the doors and start on some of the details to the floor plan. Open the FloorPlan4 sample file in the chapter six folder. Let's work on these doors here which are double 3 foot doors. It says they're one and a half inches thick, typical. So let's go over here, zoom in, and draw the first door with rectangle tool. The x distance will be the door thickness, 1.5. The y distance will be three feet. So, I'll type comma to move me to the y coordinate, and then, 3 feet, enter. Now I'd like to draw an arc that represents the door swing. I'll do that with, Center, Start, End. There's the center. The start will be three feet over, so I'll type in 3 feet, and the end will be right here. Now I can use the mirror command. Select those two objects, enter. I will mirror it from this endpoint and then I'll click down below, and press enter. Now over here we have a door, that's also three feet wide. I'm going to copy this door over here, and then rotate it, r, o, enter…
