Aligned and angular dimensions

- There are a couple of different dimensioning tools you can use when you're dealing with lines that are neither vertical nor horizontal. So, for example, over here, we have this frame running at an angle, and if we were to try to dimension that with a linear dimension this is what happens. We can either dimension it vertically or horizontally depending on how we move the cursor, but this is measuring the distance just vertically here. If I want to know how long this is along the line here, I need to use a different style of dimension, so I'm going to select that and delete it. Let's go in here and choose Aligned from the drop down menu, and I'll click those same two points and then locate the dimension line about here. I notice that this interferes with the frame geometry, and you should try to avoid that as much as possible for clarity.
