- [Instructor] Of all the user interface features shown so far, we're really just standard AutoCAD user interface features. we could find them available even in AutoCAD in some form or fashion, but what we're going to look at now is specific to Autodesk Civil 3D. In the home ribbon tab under the pallets panel, you'll notice there's a big button called tool space. We're going to go ahead and click on that. We're going to open up the Civil 3D tool space palette. Now this is a pallet, it works like all other pallets. We grab it by the name and you can drag it around, it can dock, it can anchor to a side, it can auto-hide, all of the normal things you can do with a pallet. Now this tool space pallet has four tabs that are available, prospector, settings, survey, and toolbox. If you don't have four tabs available, the button's just the right of the tool space on the palettes panel, turn on and off these different tabs.
