- [Instructor] The certification exam will be testing you on a wide variety of tasks touching virtually all of the functionality in Civil 3D. So we are recommending that you have several years' experience using Civil 3D. Before you take the test, it's recommended that you review these exam objectives. And here you can see we'll be going over everything from styles and services to parcels and plan production. If there are any of these areas or functionalities that you don't deal with on a normal basis, I would recommend spending extra time there before the test. There's plenty of time allotted to take the test so you won't need to rush. But do take your time to read the questions multiple times as they can be a little tricky. You'll be taking the test at an Autodesk vendor's location, though it will be a new install of Civil 3D. You'll be working on hardware that you're not familiar with. You may be in a room with multiple people or by yourself and the test proctor. One thing I recommend is to reset your Civil 3D profiles and workspaces back to default as this is the way you'll be taking the test. So let's take a look in Civil 3D.
