Project objects to section views
- [Instructor] Similar to profile views, we can also project objects onto section views. You can project the similar type of objects, linear objects, as well as features such as AutoCAD blocks or Civil 3D points. Let's see how we can do that. Let's go ahead to our exercise, 0906, project objects. We're going to identify the view labeled station 7+50. I'm going to select that view and in the contextual ribbon, we have project objects to view, so I'm going to go ahead and select that. If I pan over to the corridor and the plan view here, you'll notice that there is a light blue line running parallel to the road. This is a feature line, it's going to represent the water line. We're going to select that, press enter. It's a feature line but in this case, notice the direction of the section view and the direction of this linear feature, this water line.
