Performing a design check

- [Instructor] If you watched the previous video, you saw how to perform a depth check on your pressure network. A design check is similar, but it checks more aspects of your design. Let's see how it works. For the design check, I'm actually going to use the modify tab of the ribbon, so it's a few extra steps to get to the command, but it pays off in the end and I'll explain why. If I click modify and then design and then pressure pipe network, it gives me access to the design check icon. Then I can launch the command without selecting anything. The reason that's important is because when I launch the command, I can use this option to select entire pressure network. I'm going to click that option and then click a pipe or fitting or a pertinence in my network and you can see that the whole things has been selected, so that allows me to do the whole network at once.
