Join Josh Modglin for an in-depth discussion in this video Panorama, part of AutoCAD Civil 3D 2018 Essential Training.
- [Instructor] We spent some time looking…at the Toolspace palette that's specific to Civil 3D.…Civil 3D has another palette called the Panorama palette.…The Panorama palette is really kind of a catch-all palette…for many different functions…to provide some type of visual, tabular means…to view or edit data.…As you're working in Civil 3D and getting familiar,…you may see the Panorama palette show the Event Viewer.…Or as we work with profiles,…we may choose to view…and work with those profiles in a tabular form.…
Notice this is the Panorama palette that has opened up…to provide us a tab to work with profile entities.…So the Panorama palette, again, is a catch-all…for many different types of tabs…that can give us the ability to view…and edit data that we're working with.…

4/13/2017This course gets you up and running with AutoCAD Civil 3D. First, instructor Josh Modglin shows how to model a surface, lay out parcels, and design geometry, including the making of horizontal alignments and vertical profiles. Next, Josh demonstrates how to create corridors, cross sections, pipe networks, and pressure networks. Then, he covers working with feature lines and grading objects, and how to share your data. He wraps up by providing an overview of plan production tools.
