- [Instructor] In addition to regular alignments that define a baseline or center, there's a few other alignments that we can create that are associated to a baseline or baseline set they're offset or connected to. In this video, we're going to learn a little bit about offset alignments. Let's go ahead and open up our exercise for this video. I'm going to choose from the Quick Access Toolbar, the Open button, and choose the 06_07_AlignOffset drawing. This is, of course, the alignment that we have been working with. This is our baseline alignment. Now if I select this alignment, it's also available from the Home, Create Design Panel, you have the ability to have Offset Alignments. So notice the Launch Pad panel, contextual ribbon, and choose Offset Alignments. An offset alignment is pretty much that. We can use the AutoCAD OFFSET on an alignment object and a polyline will be created, but it's not dynamically linked to the alignment, offset alignments are. So I'm going to select this…
