Labeling a boundary
- [Instructor] Let's look at the annotation tools for labeling our boundary. If we go to the Annotate tab on the ribbon, click the tag here at the top, we get our Add Labels dialog box. First thing I want to do is change our feature over to Line and Curve. And for now, we'll focus on doing a Single Segment. Our line label style we want to choose Bearing and Distance and then choose Add. Now whichever line we click is going to add that label, so I'll start here. We get our bearing and distance. Now we could continue going around and clicking each one of these, but the more complicated the boundary, that would be a huge waste of time. So let's look at a way of speeding all this up. When we drew our boundary, in this case, we drew it line by line, so they're disconnected. It would be ideal for us to have this as a closed polyline. Let's look at turning these disconnected lines into a single polyline to make our labeling easier. First, I will select one of the polylines and run the PE…
