Editing using the layout tools
- [Instructor] We've already covered most of the layout tools when talking about the initial layout of the network, but there are a few tools left. Let's see what they are. If I select a component of my network and then go to Edit Network, Plan Layout Tools, we see the ribbon that you've already seen in some of the other videos earlier in the course. In some of these videos we learned about how to lay out the different components of the network and also how to configure the network such as the surface and the alignment and the parts list. We saw tools that let us choose the right parts from the parts list and choose which commands will dictate what we add and where. What we haven't discussed yet was this section, this modify section and specifically I want to focus on the Break Pipe, Move Parts and Slide Parts commands. Let's talk about Break Pipe first. It's a pretty simple command and what it will do is wherever you click on the pipe it will split the pipes in two and connect them…
