Editing pipes using grips
- [Instructor] In the previous video, we saw how grips can be used to edit fittings, and even lay out new network components. Well, pipes have grips too, so let's see how they work. Going to zoom-in to the building a bit, and start by clicking on this pipe. You'll notice off the bat that we have a square grip, notice the difference also, if I click on this pipe, which has a free end, but I get a lot more grips to show up. We'll come back to that. On this pipe, we've got that one singular square grip, and if I click and drag that grip, it allows me to move the pipe while maintaining it's orientation in the drawing. But if I use that grip, please notice that the pipe becomes disconnected from it's other components. They don't move with it. So fittings, when you move them, will pull the pipes along with them, but the pipes do not do that. They will not carry the fittings along with them. So if you need to shift around the direction of the network, move things around, you're usually…
