Editing labels in plan view
- [Instructor] In the previous video, you saw how to add labels in plan view, but as you may recall, their placement left a bit to be desired. Let's see how we can do some editing to fix things up. I'll zoom in to this pipe and you can see we've got a pipe label here and if I click the pipe label, you'll see two types of grip that appear on there. One is a diamond shape, and what that allows me to do is slide the label up and down the pipe and even though it appears as though I'm pulling the diamond off of the pipe, notice that the label always stays a consistent distance from the pipe. If this were a curved pipe, it would stay aligned with the pipe as well. It would rotate with the curvature of the pipe. That's what the diamond shaped grip does. The square grip actually allows me to pull the label off of the pipe, but it also activates the drag state, which means an arrow will probably appear.
