Edit a gravity network using grips

- [Instructor] Now that you've learned how to create pipe networks in both plan and profile view, it's time to start looking at editing them. We'll begin with editing them graphically, using grips. To get started, let's zoom in to our pair of inlets located around station 5 + 50. You can see that this inlet is not oriented parallel to the road, so to fix that, we'll click that inlet, and then we'll also click the one across the road from it. The reason we want to click this one is we want to steal its grip to enable us to align the other one with it. So I'll click the circular grip here, and that will allow me to rotate the inlet, and what I'll do is bring my cursor down to this grip and use it to snap my cursor into the center of the other inlet, giving me that nice perpendicular direction across the road. Now, I could have also created a piece of construction geometry there, something like a circle to snap to, but…
