- [Narrator] We've created a surface profile and a profile view, and now it's time to create a design profile. Let's look at the steps to complete that with some minimum K values. I'll go to the home tab, profile, profile creation tools. Our first step is to tell Civil 3D which profile view we're working in. And now we choose our profile styles and our label sets, and the defaults here will be fine. And very similar to the alignment editor, the profile layout tools allows us to choose between drawing tangents, or drawing tangents with curves. If we're going to draw all the tangents with curves, we want to set our curve settings first. We're going to put in minimum K values of 30 and 35 for size, and click OK. Now we'll choose to draw our tangents with curves. I'm going to rough in snapping to the beginning there. I'm going to turn off my automatic snaps. I'm going to start designing my profile. Again, I'm going to use an end snap here, and once I click enter, we get all of our labels…
