- [Instructor] We've made some larger scale edits to our surface, but what if we really want to fine tune it line by line? Let's take a look at that. To get started, I'm going to change the style of this surface so that I can see the TIN lines. So, I'll select the surface, go up to surface properties and click that icon, and then on the information tab, change the style to triangles. I'll click Okay. And we can see that I'm now displaying the surface in the form of triangles. When I do this, if I zoom in along the edges, you'll notice these long triangle edges that stretch across these indentations in the surface data. These are inaccurate. The whole idea with a TIN is that you're interpolating between points that are close together. And that gives you the greatest amount of accuracy. Right now, we're actually saying that our surface knows that elevations exist way out here, where this TIN line is being stretched…
