Creating point tables
- [Instructor] Once you have the points in the drawing, it may be useful to have a point table for reference to be able to see information about all the points in an easy to read, tabular format. Let's go ahead and open up our drawing to create our cogo table. This is the drawing where we have our trees, and our iron pins and so what we're going to do is just select any one of these and from the contextual ribbon, notice add tables. Add tables allows us to select the style for our table as well as the layer. These defaults are of course coming from our feature settings and drawing settings. Then you can manually choose the points. You can choose by point group, you can manually select points, or you can control the points by the label style, and in this case we're going to use just description. I love this because you can add existing points or any points that are new after you've created the point table. If they're using this label style, they'll automatically be added to the point…
