Creating grading infills

- As we get into this video, we're going to learn about the importance of what are called grading infills. Let's go ahead and open up our exercise file, 13_03_Grading Infill. As we discussed in our last video, the surface that's created is very accurate. It's added this feature line along the inside edge here as a hide boundary. We have have no data in our surface here and that's by design. What if we want to add data inside a closed space? That's where grading infills come into play. From the home ribbon Create Design Panel, we're going to choose Grading. Notice it says Create Grading Infill, but we're going to open up Grading Creation Tools. This is a new drawing so we want to make sure we're in the right group. That's important as we may have different sites or containers we're grading in. Then from the dropdown here, we're going to choose to create an infill. An infill requires a closed space of feature lines that belong in the same site or container. Well, this is closed feature…
