Creating a feature line from an object

- [Narrator] In our last video we created a Feature Line from scratch. In this video, let's go ahead and open up our exercise file. We're going to take an existing object, 12_03FLObject, such a Poly Line and we're going to convert it into a Feature Line. We're going to see some of the options and we're going to find out if it's a little faster then creating a Feature Line from scratch. So we have this Poly Line here. We're going to come from the Home Ribbon, Create Design Panel, choose Feature Line, Create Feature Line from Objects and we're going to select this Poly Line. But before we do notice the options that are available to us. We can select the Line, Arc, the Poly Line, or 3D Poly Lines to convert to Feature Lines. Great. Or we could even grab geometry through an X Graph and what it will do is it will create a copy of that geometry in this drawing as a Feature Line. A really nice little feature.
