Creating automatic linework

- [Instructor] Bringing this all together, we have the three components that we need to create automated line work. We set up our description key sets, which will place blocks on layers of our choice. Map the figure prefix database, which will determine what lines will be drawn and how they will display and we have the line work code sets, which are special codes that tell Civil 3D when to begin and end lines. Now we're going to import that same data we worked with earlier into the survey database and have Civil 3D do our automated line work for us. If I go back to my survey databases and expand out chapter one, I'm going to right click on import events and import survey data. So working with this database, I'll continue on next and we'll import that data again by clicking the plus, choosing our points example file from chapter one.
