Create a surface profile
- [Instructor] We have two requirements to create a surface profile. One that we have an alignment and two that we have a surface in the same drawing. Let's look at the steps to create a surface profile. Under home, profile, the first option is create surface profile. From here we choose the alignment, the surface, the stations that we want to sample on and whether or not we want sample offsets. So we can enter in sample offsets. My first deposit number would be to the right, a comma to separate a new value and then a negative 25 to get to the left. Once we add these, you see we have two profiles on the profile list. One to the right, one to the left, and then I can turn off the sample offsets and add another one to get directly on the center line without an offset. Now at this point, when I click okay, I will have created the profiles in the drawing, but they won't be drawn anywhere. So instead of clicking okay in this case, we'll choose the next option is draw in profile view. Now…
