Create a parcel from drawing objects
- [Instructor] We've seen how to create parcels using geometry you've already created. But what if you want to draw them from scratch? Let's take a look at some of the parcel layout tools. To launch the parcel layout tools toolbar, I'll go up here to parcel and select parcel creation tools. And on this toolbar, I've got a series of commands that I can use to create parcel geometry. This first command you'll see is fixed line two points it's like drawing a line segment with the line command in AutoCAD, but the resulting object is a parcel segment object instead of an AutoCAD line. similar idea with the curve commands I can create a fixed curve with three points or with two points and a radius. Then finally, we've got this draw a tangent, tangent with no curves which is very similar to the polyline command in AutoCAD. Again, the resulting geometry will be a parcel, segment object instead of a polyline object. Now, frankly…
