Create and edit surfaces

- In this exercise, we're going to create and edit a simple surface made from contours. Our first step is to create the surface, so we'll right-click on Surfaces in the Tool Space Prospector, and choose Create Surface. We are creating a TIN surface, and it will go on layer C-TOPO. We can give it a name of just Surface, and take the default Style of two foot and ten foot contours. Click OK. Now we're ready to add this contour data to the surface. I'll expand out the Surface tree and the Definition. And I'll right-click on Contours, and choose Add. We'll take the default contour settings data here. Click OK. And now, zoom out if you need to, and window around all the contours in the drawing. Once they're selected, press Enter on the keyboard. And now we can see that the surface has been built, based on this icon here, and these black dots at Contours and Edits. Now I'm going to zoom in, and we're going to turn on all the other Layers, so that we can see our surface. Right now, we're…
