- [Instructor] Another important type of labeling for surfaces is Contour Labeling. Let's see how it's done. I'll start by launching my Add Labels command. And for the feature, I'll select Surface. And for the label type, I'll start with Contour Single. Now I want to do some proposed labels. And you can see that all of my styles here are set to proposed. I'll click Add. And I'll zoom in and select first my surface, and then one of the contours on that surface. And you can see that as I pick each point on a contour line, it creates an individual label. That's great for labeling small areas like this, where I'm very carefully picking exactly where I want the labels to go. What if I'm doing something like this existing ground surface, which has lots and lots of contours? For this example, I'm going to change my label type to Contour Multiple.
