Corridor targeting
- [Instructor] In the last video, we created a very simple corridor, but in the process we were introduced to targeting as we targeted a surface to daylight two. Now there's other ways to target and we're going to learn about that in this video. So we're going to open up our exercise file for this video. Go to our Quick Access Toolbar, choose Open, and go to the 08_05 Corridor Targets file. In this file, you'll see the simple corridor that we created in our last video. But we also have a polyline that's been drawn and it's really a taper in little place where we're going to have some parking or some other setup here. And so we want to widen our lane and our sidewalk, our daylight to come out this way. And so we're going to use the power of targets within corridors. A corridor object, depending on the subassembly that is used, can target a surface. It can target horizontally, so any object that is a linear object horizontally, so polylines, feature lines, survey figures, as well as…
