Corridor surfaces
- [Instructor] Corridors that have this 3D model they're really cool and great to look at when we're in Civil 3D, but what good are they if they don't help us accomplish a design that can be built in the field? How are they connected to deliverables for a planned production? In this video we're going to see how we can get a surface from the corridor model, and so I'm going to open up our exercise file from the quick access open toolbar and tool option and choose 08_06 corridor surfaces drawing. In this drawing we have the same corridor that we've been working with, even with the targeted, a widening there. I'm going to select that corridor by grabbing one of the link lines that are running perpendicular to the linear path. In the contextual ribbon I have Corridor Surfaces. Go ahead and select that option, and in here we have the ability to create a corridor surface.
