Controlling the display of pipes
- [Instructor] Pipe styles control the way pipes appear in the drawing. Let's see how they work. As you can see, I'm zoomed into a fitting, and there are pipes connected to it on either side. I'm going to select one of the pipes and then click Pressure Pipe Properties up on the ribbon. Here we've got a style assigned called Centerline (Water), and I'm going to make a copy of that and call it Water Presentation. If you watched the previous video and this seems very much like that, it in fact is so far identical, but now it's going to change a bit as we move into the details of the pipe style. Let's take a look at what's available in Plan view. And I want to point out that the options for Plan and Profile are nearly identical. There's one extra section down here. But let's talk about all of the other sections. For the pipe wall sizes we can use the part dimensions as they're defined in the parts list, or we can use a user defined diameter, so that would be a constant diameter. Hatch…
