Control the display of points

- [Narrator] Point display control in Civil 3D can be a little confusing so let's spend some time making sure we understand what settings have which effects on our display. Picking up where we left off in the last exercise, let's select a point in the model and look at our properties. The most important thing we're looking for here is: what is the style set to? You'll see that the style is set to default along with the point label style set to default. When this is the case over in the prospector the point group that the point belongs to will determine the display of the point. So, in this case all of our points are set to default in their properties. So, if we look at the all points point group, to which they all belong, and go to properties, you'll see that the point style is basic and there is no point label style. I'm going to move this over so we can see our model space, then I'm going to apply a different point label style. I'm going to choose description only and click apply…
