Adding surface labels
- [Instructor] Now that we have our surface displaying the way we want, let's look at adding some labels to this. The first one we'll look at is adding a contour label. If we go to the Annotate tab at the top and then click the tag at the very top here to bring up our add labels dialog. First thing we'll want to do is to choose the feature. So in this case we are wanting to label a surface. The label type is going to be a single contour. So you'll notice we have the options to add multiple or multiples at intervals. So by choosing Contour-Single we then have the options for major and minor contours and also users. So if this matches what we want, which it does, we're working with an existing surface, so we're going to use these styles. Click Add. All I need to do now is select a single contour line. And one thing that will confuse it here is if our snaps are turned on. So you'll notice along the boundary there I'm getting a snap so what I'm going to do is turn off my snaps. So the…
