Working with roof slabs
- We're staying in our roof model.dwg file, And as you can see, it's in the southwest isometric 3D view using the 2D wire frame visual style. Now what we're going to look at now are roof slabs, now up until now we have a roof object, it's here, this is our roof object, as you can see, and when I click on it, we get the roof contextual tab up on the ribbon there as well. Now, all we've done with the roof object is generate the geometry of the roof, So we've kind of created a outline of our roof, we haven't actually applied any roof slab properties to it, so at the moment it's just a roof, there's no slate, there's no underlay, there's no joist, there's no battens, no nothing, it's just an object, a conceptual object representing your roof. Now you'll notice on the roof tab on the ribbon, in the modify panel, we have a convert here, I'll come back to that later. What I'd like you to do is just de-select the roof for…
