- [Instructor] So, we're staying in our Floor Plan.dwg file. And what we're going to look at now is the 3D aspect of AutoCAD Architecture. Now, I've mentioned this a little bit in the previous videos in this chapter. What you're doing in AutoCAD Architecture is you're not working in 2D anymore. You're working in 3D and developing a 3D architectural model. Now, at the moment, the dwg file, because it's in the top view of the 3D model, it looks like a flat 2D AutoCAD drawing. It's not. And that's the reason why I've called it Floor Plan.dwg as well. Because that kind of gives you that sort of false sense of security thinking, "Oh, it's just an AutoCAD 2D drawing." It's not an AutoCAD 2D drawing. It's actually a 3D model, just looking at it from the top. And that's the mindset that you need to be in when you're working in AutoCAD Architecture.
