Using flat roofs

- [Interviewer] We're staying in our roof model .dwg file, and as you can see, we're in the 2D wide frame visual style, and we're in the southwest isometric 3D view. Now you can see that I've left the drawing in this case with our 45 degree roof, as you can see we've got all the angles there and the edges and faces and so on. Now it might be that you don't want a sloped angled roof on your AutoCAD architectural model. You might want a flat roof. So you can create a flat roof from scratch, I'll tell you how to do that in a second. But more importantly, you can convert a sloped roof to a flat roof very quickly and very easily. So all you do is you select your roof object, like so. As you can see, it all kicks in with the grips and so on, like it did in the previous video. And we get our roof tab up on the ribbon as well. Now don't worry about the roof tab, that purely comes up as a contextual tab because you selected the roof…
