…In this movie I'd like to talk about view navigation.…When you're working in a CAD drawing, often the…drawing is much larger than your screen will allow.…So you have to get comfortable being able to move…around the screen into the various areas where you want to work.…And zooming and panning is a big part of that.…So, I'm in a file here called Floor Plan.…But you really could be in any drawing file that you'd like.…There's even some sample files that come with the software.…Or feel free to open a drawing that you might have on your own system.…And what I want to talk about here is just…the basic ways that we can navigate around the drawing.…
So the first method I want to look at is using your mouse.…And we're going to use the wheel on our mouse.…Now, if your mouse does not have a wheel, it's time to go buy one that has a wheel.…It's absolutely a critical piece of hardware that you…have to have when you're working in software like AutoCAD.…So if you hold the wheel down, push it in and hold it down, and…move the mouse side to side, this is what we call panning.…
