Setting up a simple project
- [Instructor] We're starting a new chapter now in our AutoCAD Architecture course. And what we're going to be looking at now is drawing management. Now, up until now, we've used a basic AutoCAD Architecture DWG file. We haven't even thought about what projects do in AutoCAD Architecture. Now AutoCAD Architecture, the architecture behind it, if you'll pardon the pun, is project-driven. And the whole idea is that you can give specific parts of the project to somebody else to work on. So somebody might be working on the walls, somebody might be working on the roof. Somebody might be working on the internal layout, for example. So what you can do with AutoCAD Architecture is set up a project and assign these different elements or constructs to different people to work on as different drawings. So you'll notice we've got a new drawing ready for you to use. It's called Project Model.dwg. Now it's a whole AutoCAD Architecture project, in essence. In inverted commas at the moment. And you…
