Creating roofs

- [Instructor] We're starting another chapter now in our AutoCAD Architecture Essential Training Course, and I'm going to start working with roofs. Now we've got a new drawing for you. Again, it looks remarkably similar to other things we've used in previous chapters and it's called Roof Model.dwg, and you can see it there on the screen. As usual, you can download it from the website to follow along with the videos in this chapter. Now the one thing you will notice in this particular drawing is there is no floor slab. I've deliberately excluded it. I haven't included one at all because we're concentrating on the roof this time. Now obviously when you're working in AutoCAD Architecture, you would have a floor and a roof on a building or many floors, for example, and a single roof perhaps on a tower block, for example.
