Adding text and leaders
- [Instructor] When you're working in your AutoCAD Architecture project, you will find that text and leaders follow the same workflow and process as dimensioning, so your annotation, basically, such as text and leaders, has to be annotative as well. Now, the whole idea of AutoCAD Architecture is it's utilizing this annotative scaling all the time to save you having to worry about scaling things in the viewports all the time like you would in regular AutoCAD. So we're going to zoom in on our 00-Ground Floor GA, so make sure you're in the right drawing, and remember that dimension we placed on the desk? Just zoom in near that so that we got a little bit of clarity there and we can see what we're doing. Now, what I'm going to do is place a little bit of text and also a leader into the 00-Ground Floor GA. Now, make sure you're on the A000D layer, or the corresponding layer if you're working in a different version of AutoCAD Architecture, such as US Imperial. And we're just going to place…
