Simultaneous multitrack recording
In this movie we are going to look at simultaneous multitrack recording, and to help me out, I am now joined by the entire band, we have James on vocals and guitar, Alex on drums, Abe on bass, and Craig on the dobro. Here in Auria, you can see I have already set up eight tracks and they are all Record Enabled. If I go over to the Input Matrix, you can see each track has a separate input being routed to it. Now at this point, I am going to ask the band to play a little while I set the levels on my input device. I am also going to record the audio tests so we can get a look at the waveforms in the Edit window after the band has played a bit. So I am going to Record Enable, we are rolling. And James, if you could play a few bars and kick us off? James: Sure, one, two, three, four. (music playing) Garrick: Okay, so the levels are looking pretty good at this point.
