In the previous chapter, we looked at several recording techniques, and now we have a multitrack…project to work with.…Of course, recording is only part of the equation and how your final project sounds also has…a lot to do with how it's edited and mixed.…So in this chapter, we're going to take a look at several important tools and skills…you need to edit audio in Auria.…Now I want to mention up front that nearly everything you do to your recordings in Auria…is nondestructive, meaning you're free to experiment and play around with effects and…levels without worrying about permanently altering what you've recorded.…You can always change your mind later and add effects or even remove them entirely.…
Now the way you're going to perform the majority of the edits to your project is by working…directly with regions in the Edit window.…The regions are the individual colored bars on each track representing the recordings.…Tracks might have a single region or multiple regions if you recorded tracks in sections…
