Using the Tracks panel

- [Instructor] You can use the tracks panel to quickly hide and show tracks in your multitrack session. So, for example, in this session, I have a lot of tracks, and I don't need to see all of them all of the time. So I'm going to go to my window menu, and down here I'm going to select tracks. And here's my tracks panel to the left of my session. And it lists all of my tracks with a visibility icon next to each one. I might just expand this track out, so we can see it a little bit better. And I also don't need my essential sound panel for this, so I'll just click the context menu, and choose Close Panel. So the way that this works is if I don't need to see Mike's dialog track for the work that I'm doing at the moment, I can just click the visibility icon next to it to turn it off, and it disappears from my session. I haven't deleted that track, I can still hear it when I play it back, I just can't see it in my multitrack editor. And then if I want to bring it back, all I need to do is…
