- [Instructor] In this video, let's take a closer look at the editor panel. Since this is where we'll be doing most of our work in Audition, this panel actually has two different views and at the moment I'm looking at what's called the multi-track editor. But if I go over to my files panel, and I'll just find an audio file I want to open, maybe this one here, I'll double click this and now I'm looking at this in the wave form editor. And I can only work in one of these two modes at a time. I can switch between them by going up to these buttons at the top here. You can see I'm in the wave form mode at the moment because it's highlighted blue but if I click multi-track, I'll switch back to my multi-track mode. So the obvious difference is that multi-track is for combining multiple files and wave form is for working on individual files, but other than that there is one big distinction between these two modes and it's important to understand the difference.
